Some guy named DeLorean tried that once......didn't work out so well....

They still look as good as the day they were made lol

I was sure that thing had been sitting on a flat bed and fell off. When you see a frame like that, it makes me think how retarded that is that we use such a massive device, often to transport one or two people! I just hope, the thieves perished in that wreck.

They didn't, according to the link provided.

That's too bad. I guess, Only the good die young, as the song goes.

A bodyman told me a little while ago, what a survivable vehicle my 08 Duramax was.

Per... that truck was going around 100MPH (stolen, in a police chase) when the driver lost control spun around and hit a Camaro going ~50MPH in the other direction with the truck's rear bumper.
With a 150MPH closing speed and a rear end collision, I am not surprised.[/IMG]

But... have you ever, in the 100+ years of cars traveling a 100+ MPH, seen that, until now?

Haha that's because cocaine is illegal.

And he used a weenie engine.

That is the first 150 MPH closing speed rear end collision with a stock body on frame truck that I have seen.

What does "closing speed" mean? And how does it have any real life application? IOW, how do two vehicles (of equal mass) hitting each other head on at 100 mph differ from one vehicle traveling at 100 mph hitting a bridge abutment?

50% more force coming at you than hitting a stationary object.
