Torpedo/Salamander heater best practices?

   / Torpedo/Salamander heater best practices? #61
The Thermocouple went out on my 75,000 to 100,000 BTU propane Salamander/Torpedo heater

It has a junction block H06F thermocouple. I heard they also make a junction block that screws in where the thermocouple screws in and then you can use a regular, readily available thermocouple. Does anybody have a link to something like that?

Most of the H06F thermocouples I found online were not the correct thermocouple or they used a generic picture. - They did not have the junction block in the picture.

Does anybody have a recommendation for something to replace my 100,000 BTU propane torpedo?

I am looking for something propane & directional, that doesn't have to be right next to you - like a torpedo

The first torpedo heater I looked at was only $145 and was 125,000 max BTU

There is a Ray Murray Inc warehouse in Flint Michigan that sells parts for LP White and other unit heaters ( Enerco etc. ) or if you post a picture I'll help you get a replacement
