Sorry goeduck,

I didn't realize I haven't posted any pictures for some time. These aren't great pictures but they show progress.

All the wood finish should be done this week and hopefully the siding done next week. (siding showed up yesterday)

The builder said the paint is scheduled for Monday after Thanksgiving.

Are those walls textured? If not, why so much mud on them?

Yes, they are textured. Stay tuned for the pictures when the paint is done. I think it'll look real good.

Enjoyed the pictures, our living room has the coffered ceiling with textured finished and really like it. We will die here hopefully, but I still like seeing a build.

I know around here, regular sheetrock and taping seems is going out of style. They now use wallboard and skim coat plaster over 100% of the wall. My brother was finishing off his basement and had a hard time finding anyone who taped sheetrock. They wanted him to switch to wallboard, but he had already purchased the sheetrock.

What is 'wallboard'? I've always heard that term used interchangeably with sheetrock/drywall.
