Bright yellow may be easier to see. Knock on wood, I have never ran over one of my saws. Yet. I always put them next to a tree which helps.

Oh, how sweet is that one. About 1980? Late 70s? Does it have points or EI?

I just landed this one from the late 80s: A PoulanPro 375 Farm Pro 61cc. Manual oiler only,
no chain brake. Seems to be nearly the first of the "PoulanPro" brand name and the new colors.
Runs great now.

80-84 from my reading. Family tree 5200 5400 8500. I have had 5400 and 8500 so far.

The 375 has auto oiler and manual oiler if I recall right. I owned them too. One I had had wrong air filter top.
Had 4000 375 3800 3400 etc in that series.

What do you want for $99. :p:laughing:
Most the ones I seen that owners have troubles with is they dont know how to tune. For one they come to lean from factory. 2 the carb nuts get loose and you need to check and do maintenance from time to time. 3 the fuel line is junk in them and should be replaced. Most the fuel filter has already fell off. :confused2:

Tools some times are only as good as their owners. But yes the 55 is a proven and much better saw.

I cant stand them because they have no AV myself for a little trim saw. I usually sell them tuned and ready to cut for 40-50 to homeowners doing yard work around the house.

Picked up a " Junk " MS361 yesterday at a pawn shop on liquidation @ $90.00. Saw looked like new, No oil/sawdust buildup behind the muffler and nice and clean all over. except a little fresh oil around the carb. Great compression as best I could tell by pulling it over. Guy said it was POS and they can't get it running. He left for a few minutes to do a cash loan so I inpected the saw. I opened the gas cap to look at the filter and the gas tank was 1/2 full of bar oil. I opened the oil cap and it was wet but empty and smelled like gas !!! I said I'll take it. You can guess the rest. Now I have 2 MS361's
