Batteries New Holland LB75B

Hi

I have an LB 75 backhoe. I need new batteries. Nowhere does the manual tell me the specs on the battery except cca and voltage. Anyone know the dimensions or group size of a 2 battery setup on this rig? I don't have the old ones to match. Thanks. Can I push my luck and ask for a picture of how they are configured in the battery box? Thanks again. Been all over the net and called New Holland. No luck on the info. Frustrating.

If the batteries are in front of the radiator they are BCI group 49 NH part # BNH49MFW. If they are by the hydraulic tank they are BCI group 47 NH part # F960DSW.

May vary by year but here is what I found at the NH Parts lookup.

Says it's a group 49.

New Holland has a great parts lookup site. If you click on "Print Assembly" at the top of each page it converts to a downloadable PDF. I have saved tons of parts lookups for my 575E.

If you click on the "wet us battery" part number it says grp 49 in the description. Look up the dimensions on your own.

I gave you both part numbers and BCI group numbers, all you needed to know was where the batteries are located on your machine. The BCI group number defines the dimensions. I do not know who you contacted at New Holland but any parts person at a reputable dealer should have been able to give you the same or better info than I did from memory.

Oh believe me I have tried. Im not lazy. I had the part number from New Holland and called my dealer (75 miles away) and they could not give group size or dimensions.

Yes I saw that and thanks. The link only gave me the home page for parts and I already went that route. I was hoping to verify on that site group size but no info. Im not sure where you saw the group size but I couldnt find it. I will take your word for it and buy accordingly.

21 years at New Holland dealerships I didn’t have to look any of it up. The link is a starting point for parts by model. I encourage folks to find their way from there rather than leading by the hand so nothing is learned. Good luck with your battery purchase!
