Okay I resized my images in post 6. is that better?

The pictures are still huge...several megs...they are over 4K x3K pixels...very slow to load for anyone with low bandwidth connections...they should be cut down to say to 800 x 600 pixels...they will look fine for internet browsing...

open a pic in Irfanview Click on the "Image" menu then select "Resize / Resample (Ctrl + R) select a preset size or...and save the new image to upload...

I used to have to resize all pictures prior to uploading here, but apparently not anymore. I'm guessing the size limitation has caught up to and exceeded my almost twenty year old Sony Cibershot.

I reduce all my uploads to about 1000 pixels by 800, using Photoshop Elements, resulting in file sizes of about 100-150KB. My preferred camera is still an ancient Nikon 885, which will do up to 3.2Mpixels. As of yesterday, I just passed 1200 unique photos uploaded to TBN.

Okay I tried it again to 640x480. How's that? LOL

By the way, I hooked power to the starter and the engine spins freely!

If you had the time... you could check compression... this would give you a ball park on the top end?

I've seen vehicles with nothing wrong just parked and never moved... with tracks... sometimes it takes more time to free up the tracks than anything else.

That's great...Looking forward in anticipation...you might want to start squirting any and all moving machine parts with some Liquid Wrench etc...

BTW...you have to overwrite the original uploaded pics with the smaller files...they are still loading really slow...
