Oh, dear, that must have been scary, Brandi!

It sounds like damage was minimal. It does show that this could happen to anyone. I once experienced a rollover in a car on a freeway. I will always remember that.

Thx for posting.

I guess the best thing to come out of this is wear your seat belt while loading and unloading and to check for leaks before loading or unloading.

Congratulations on your repair Brandi and glad to know that you are okay. Back when I had a CDL loaded up excavators a few times but never knew something like that could happen.

Thank Mwayne! Welcome to TBN. Where in North Texas do you live? My Dad was raised on a farm outside of Higgins in the Panhandle.

I am in eastern Ellis county on a mesquite savanna that I'm going to try to restore to native prarie. Quite a bit different from the looks of your place.

Native prairie is praise worthy. Hard work but good. Do Y'all have many Cedar trees there? I am looking for a cedar source for my sawmill so I can build a log home. My retirement home.

Yes we have the eastern red cedar here:

Juniperus virginiana - Wikipedia

Most of mine are more scrub brush type that would make fence posts but I have a few that are sawmill worthy. I'll keep an eye out for big cedars as I drive around the area. You're wanting them for timbers?

Thanks. I will be milling them as 6x6s, 8 feet long. So they will need to be around 10 inches or larger.
