You guys amaze me.

Lowest mileage I have out of 3 vehicles is 179k, and that's on the wife's Pilot for the family and that's HER car.

Just turn 27k on my 2000 Trans Am last summer. Ain't no grocery getter but I take it for ice cream a few times ... :D

Currently have a 2013 Miata GT, bought 2 years ago. Before that, I had a Triumph TR-3B, Triumph Spitfire, Alfa Duetta Jr. and a VW Cabrio. The Miata tops them all. Loved the Alfa, too.

Have a 95 Miata with the hard top sitting in the garage. Nice little car. 60k on it so don't use it much. These cars are pretty much bullet proof unlike a 87 RX-7 I once had. But that car WAS fun...

There is a LOT to say about reliability. I replaced my Ferrari 308 with a '90 Miata 20 y ago. Yeah, I gave up looks and 3 1/2 times more power, but I had no problems with the Mazda. My current Miata is a 2016, and I am barely at 5000 miles on it.

The MG Midget is the smallest car I have ever been in, back in high school. It was a 60s model, and (with a modern 4-cyl engine) would be a very fun car. It seemed even smaller than the Honda 600 coupe I drove a few times back then. (It was awful.)

In the 60s the Midget had a 948cc and then a 1098cc and a 1248cc. Mine is a 1976 and has the 1500cc engine - almost 100 hp. Not so fast but everything feels faster when you are close to the ground. The biggest challenge is getting into it. At 6 feet tall and 70 years old, I have an interesting contortion method.

Kinda like our 96 Corvette. You just fall into it then ..... have fun trying to get out.

Maybe somebody needs to invent an extraction crane for us senior guys?

My F-350 KR is much easier.
