Great testimonial arits! That was my experience with my previous Mule 610 and Kubota B7500. Hoping my Mule Pro MX and B2650 hold true. Mules may not be the fastest, most sexy UTV's but they are well designed and engineered for their purpose and stoutly built.

Really like your Mule. You should get many years of good service with it. Nice size for going on trails. I needed one a bit bigger to haul my dogs in the bed while training. Have about 200 hrs on it now and so far its worked very well. Had a Mule 3010 before this one and it was also a good machine.

Thanks Oleozz loving it so far. I only had to cut two little trees where it was a little tight. There are times I wish I had a big bed like yours though.

we had a Mule 3010 trans (early 2000's model?), put 3,000+ hours on it and sold it in 2016 in just a few days on CL for $500 less than we paid new. Never had any issues with it. Had a Ranger 500 briefly (neighbor traded it to us), could never keep it running and it had a myriad of weird little issues. Found it very hard to sell. Had a Gator, just a slug, also hard to sell for anything. Now have a Mule Pro FXT, its awesome.

Wow 3,000 hours on a Mule, you sure got your money's worth!

I actually didn't have any trouble selling my Ranger 500, the first person that looked at it bought it. Don't miss it though this MX is much nicer. Only thing I don't really care for are the doors but I'll leave on for winter then take them off.

Yeah a neighbor has an old 4x6 Gator and it seems pretty crude. He really likes my MX in fact he talked to the Kawasaki dealer and asked them to call him when they get another MX in.

I didn't like the doors at first either but have now got used to them and am glad they are there. I actually forget about the doors most of the time and I bet you will too.

I am kind of surprised that none of you diesel tractor loving folks bought the 30MPH Mule Pro DX(T) version with the Yanmar diesel. I have one ordered right now and I am starting to wonder if I made a mistake?

So you all have the "Cherry" gas engine from China rather than the Japan sourced Yanmar diesel. I understand that the Cherry is a small car engine over on the other side of the globe and also I see that John Deere uses this same Cherry engine in the Gator series.

I went diesel because I am typically under 12 mph on my tight/twisty/steep property, but would that Cherry engine lug around well on steep hills and 6-8 mph with a couple thousand pounds behind the machine? Dang..... maybe I should reconsider this diesel..... The Cherry gas engine version goes what, 45 or 50 MPH out on the street?

I am not aware of the cherry engines other that they are a 3 cylinder engines. Not sure how the 3 cylinder engines would perform. My Hisun ( chinese) is a single and it is very strong at handing what I need it for around my property. It will go 45 mph on the roads and when I work it e.g plowing , hauling wood or pulling logs I have it in low gear and it has a lot of power. Like mentioned in another post somewhere that I had thought of getting a diesel Kioti Mechron but because of the diesel fumes which bother me and the loud engine noises. I opt out to the gas CC 750 Challenger and am happy with it.

My BIL has a JD Gator with the three cylinder Chery engine;it has been o.k.,I just can't stand the sound it makes, sounds like and out-board motor!I am used to my Yamaha single thumpers.

The 3 cylinder gas engines are made in China by Chery. The 650cc single engine in the Mule Pro MX is manufactured in Taiwan by Kymco which was started by Honda. Kymco supplies engines for some of the major manufacturers as well as making their own motorcycles, scooters, UTV's, etc.

I've not driven a Mule diesel but I'll say the 650 cc engine really works well in the Mule MX. Plenty of power and torque yet much smoother and quieter than my previous Polaris Ranger which used a 500cc single. The MX seems equally at home crawling around on my trails at 4-5 mph as well as running 40+ when appropriate.

I have the gas Chery in ours and really like it. Gets great "mileage", never had a problem pulling anything - ALWAYS have run out of traction long before power. Now 45mph is optimistic - I know they say it will do 45 but around here with our hills, even on the road I don't know if I ever got to 45. 35 maybe 40mph is more realistic.
We bought our 10/2014 and have about 1000 miles on it. Normally just running around here and often very short trip with some BIG loads, (sometimes a trail ride of a few miles but a LOT of use around the house)so it is not easy miles and NOTHING has broke so I'm pleased.

Have any of you Mule owners found an active UTV/Mule forum?

I've looked and anything I've found is very inactive with very few posts (if any) showing up from 2019.

Is there a Tractor By Net like forum for us Mule owners....?

Never really found one - doesn't seem to have the following for whatever reason. Unfortunatally I have always had to search long and far to find any useful information.

That sux. I really like the collective intellect of a forum.

Same here - I find forums to provide far more useful information and options than about any other source on the net.
