Well, maybe Im one. I hire out dump truck work and equipment transport. The costs get passed on and frees me up for other tasks. I quickly learned hiring the right people for the right job saves money in the long run, but you gotta check more than just the price.

Well it seems like there are at least two different types, the Prius/pusscake crowd and the crowd that likes trucks and horsepower. Just because a guy doesn't need it, doesn't mean he can't want and have it! America is great again!

You've stated it well, and illustrated how many people like yourself believe their manhood is dependent on their truck.

I don't know if it was advertising that introduced this concept, or a reaction to LGBT acceptance that started in the 90's, when insecure boys felt the need to broadcast their identify with their truck ("Gay? No, I drive a truck!"), but at $50K-$60 for a new one, and being #1 sellers, the manufacturers love it.

(p.s. 90% of truck drivers are still "road queens")

When truck owners feel the need to literally hang a set of prosthetic testicles from the trailer hitch of their raised up "pavement princesses", "mall crawlers" and "road queens"....

What I consider the worst part, Ram was the last to offer a manual stick shift in a diesel pickup. Not anymore, no one offers it. I just prefer to shift my own gears, thank you.
