YM 1700 hard starting

The Korean battery in the wifes Kia didn't make it 2 years.!!! & at 110.00 THAT was very dis-appointing, to say the least.

Yeah the price of batteries has gotten out of hand that is for sure.

The Org. in my F-250 Gasser lasted 10yrs.. When It went Dead I was local stopped for gas and was brought to me. I don't have the Receipt on that one but do know where it came from. It was right after I started back driving and the truck sat without any use for Wks. to Mnths.. It didn't last long. I replaced it in 2016. Have the receipt so I know this one for sure. I'm not 100% sure but turned in the 2nd. for the core which was a Inter............ And thinking about it I made them replace the Bosh which is what in it now the next day. 12.5 after sitting over night with my Elcheapo HF. meter. Which they tested it and did no questioned asked... Even installed it... 3yr. replacement 96 prorated.......

Yea for the last several years I have heard from many that interstate batteries are not what they once were.

I bought our Highlander used from CarMax. It had just got to the dealer, and still had a dead battery from where they bought it. They replaced it before I bought it with a toyota factory battery ( which are Panasonic ) . It didn't last a few months before it had a dead cell. I didn't drive back to the dealer to get a new one, it was an hour and a half one way, I just sucked it up and paid like $75 at walmart for a new 2 yr free replacement battery and went on with life. It lasted like 6 years or so.

I致e replaced the rings, rod bearings, head gasket, fuel lines, hoses, fan belt and starter. Bled all the fuel lines. Still won稚 start, I guess I値l try new fuel. Just plain irritating but will keep trying.

Are you getting good fuel flow at the injectors? Throttle wide open? Spinning fast with compression release? Weather temperature?

I would ask the same thing. Is there fuel coming out at the injectors? Sure pump is working?

Spins Like a top is something that could be a problem. Low-no compression. Any difference when you use the decompression lever? You should at least hear the compression stoke hit or even barely hit when your not using it. Check the Valves?
Also on the battery's I lost my Truck battery. Just over 2yrs. old and would only hold 2.12V. When we hit a cold spell last Wk. 11.80............
