Yes. It all came from a tree on a flip house I had a couple years ago. Here’s 2 other tops I made from it. The second table is a makeup table I gave my sister for Christmas. IMG_1270.JPGIMG_1306.JPG

Very nice! Have you turned any bowls and vases from it also? The complexity of the pattern is especially enhanced by the curves.

No I sawed the whole trunk log and there was no figure in the top of the tree. It went to firewood. The best figure is at the bottom of the tree. Here’s some bowls I turned for a smaller trees that had even more color. And again there was only about 8’ that was nice with the bottom 4’ being a lot nicer.IMG_0964.JPGIMG_0931.JPG

It is spalted as well? That's a neat looking figure.
Good workmanship.

Maybe a little. There’s a very fine line between spalted maple and worm food. Sure if you were dedicated you could epoxy soak it and use some of the overly spalted stuff but I’ve never went through that expense and trouble. Here’s a piece that’s got quite a bit of spalting but I haven’t done anything with it yet.IMG_1312.JPG

I'd love to do that in my barn but I'd need another barn first!

Looks awesome, nice job.
