Tarp repair...tape or glue?

Have you seen this product? "fixmytear". It's a repair tape which sticks very well to vinyl, canvas, rubber, leather and most other surfaces. Apply it to both sides if you can for extra strength. Absolutely life saving tape. :cool2::wink::number1::wave::applause:

A bit OT, but any suggestions on repairing tears in a seat (in this case an ATV)? I've tried duct tape, but it seems to shift a bit after a while.

I've done that too, using Gorilla tape; but the sun and the friction of my butt sliding around starts to peel up the edges. Yet it;s still the best that I've found. Taking sharp tools out of my back pockets helps a lot as well.

what about that butyl tape? ( flex-seal) I've heard real good things about it.. pretty thick from what I hear.

walmart, ace hardware, amazon has it. Probably Lowes or Home Depot.

As to repairing a tractor seat tears I have used polyurethane caulking to stick patches to cover the splits.
Works quite well.
Flextra brand is what I used but others would work as would windshield caulking which is the same thing.
