There is no quick clot in a typical Israeli bandage - at least none I have ever seen.... It works by being able to be applied so it can't slip or loosen - will keep pressure over the wound, but not be a tourniquet. My med kit has them....
"Clotting sponge" or "clotting gauze" have quick clot in them - still need some type of bandage to hold it in place.
Since I shoot a lot and have others over to my range frequently, my kit is primarily gunshot wound, but general trauma too since I am out working alone frequently & no neighbors.....
Israeli bandages, 2 sizes clotting sponges, shears, 2 Hyfin seals, flexible splint, 2 one-hand tourniquets (CAT), and then general booboo kit with bandaids, alcohol wipes, aspirin, tweezers, etc.
If you're the type who would reach under to see if bush hog is spinning, CAT is a good choice since you can apply it to yourself alone....
