You aren’t going to like it........kuz it’s not very fancy! 4x4s (a stack of non sterile maybe an inch or two high) and a few rolls of kling. I also keep super glue near by.
When I’m hunting I add a military kit (called an IFAK) and all it adds is some tape, an OPA for an emergency cryc, a tourniquet, a big needle for needle decompression, a chest seal for a sucking chest wound and it has a roll of the Quik Clot. I carry that and my hunting buddy carries a lot of the field dressing stuff to process an animal. The IFAK is because guns are involved and I hunt remote areas. I don’t carry that if I’m backpacking and certainly not when I’m just out on the tractor or in my vehicle.
Most everything you can do with just stuff laying around. Like if you winged yourself with a chainsaw you’d probably grab a rope or belt for a tourniquet and a t shirt or rag for some pressure dressing. And the minor to moderate stuff can be done with the 4x4s and kling. That is until you can get home with your tail tucked and explain to the boss (wife) how stupid (but lucky) you are!
I knew that it would be simple, and much less than what most of us carry.
Thanks for the reply.
