In my late 30's I bought our place, my very first home. My money and MY work was going into it.
I was looking for a mower / tractor that brought me to this forum LOL In my first 38 years, I never owned a home, a bed OR a TV.
For a while, I was using a push mower because it's what I had. 8 acres of grass around the home and on hills, you know that's a loosing proposition.
One weekend evening, pushing the mower, it look like it was going to start raining. I took my clothes off and mowed naked because I figured it's something I've never done before, and problably something I'd never do again (never had a fear with being naked for some reason, and when you're sitting on the hopper with 5 guys next to you doing the same thing without stall walls, it does help not giving a crap, no pun intended LOL). Thankfully, it was only for an hour or so before I had to stop mowing, and it was the only time I mowed some grass naked in my entire life. My wife however wasn't too enthused when she brought some sweet tea out for me:laughing:
That said, the way I see it, if you want to do what you want to do on your property and you aren't hurting anyone, what right is it of others to tell you how to live your life?
Yes, I get it, there are circumstances...

Never mind associations. One boss of mine lived in an affluent neighborhood and his wife would not let him bring the company vans or pickup (Dually) home. What a looser! Those vehicles were putting the roof over her head!

Always makes me wonder how people get into these situations...
I met a woman that lived quite a nice life... her husband was a contractor and heard her say she should have married a Doctor because it was embarrassing to say husband paved roads... she said only once in the 27 years they were married did she ever set foot at the shop...
