That's how a weak lift pump would act... Hopefully that will fix it...

My neighbor has a JX95 with a cab... It was acting up, and it ended up being a pinched fuel line under the cab.

I had a pinched line too. I fixed it when I replaced all of the line from the filter to the tank.

My CIH dealer took the clear line off, replacing it with blk. fuel line... Some years later, the inner blk. line started dissolving, plugging everything up!

I hope you put on the clear line and NOT gas line?

I put on the black fuel line. It is SAE J30R7 grade. It said it is rated for gas or diesel.

???? Hopefully it won't breakdown.

I ordered the pump. It will be here Thursday. I haven't checked the pressure. I had disconnected the cold start device & it didn't seem to make a difference.

So I got the pump yesterday and put it on this afternoon. Ran a lot better but after about 45 minutes it would still sputter when it gets about 2000 rpm.*


The sputtering is not as bad as before. It will bog down until it almost dies the come back up as soon as you let off the pedal.

How about with the fuel cap loose? Maybe it's not breathing and letting air in?
