Biggest problem I had with the D3 Dozer is having to replace the oil pressure gauge line numerous times due to mice getting in behind the Instrument Panel...

First time I found out after my shoe was wet with engine oil...

Eventually I used a copper line and end of problem

LouNY - yes, I did find it. There are two glove boxes where most pickups have one. It was all curled up nicely in the upper glove box. I was out this morning fiddling with & learning the ins/out of the digital display.

You know what's really nice. Start up the truck and all the parameters default back to original settings. This means the seat heater goes on high as does the steering wheel heater. I've got about four months to figure out how to set the seat and steering wheel to default to "no heat". Or maybe it's based upon the outside temps when you start up the truck.

A guy could spend the entire day just futzing with the digital display and never drive a foot. Yes, there are storage compartments under each rear seat and under the rear floor mats on each side. There are "hidey holes" just everywhere.

I want to say that mine doesn't turn on the heated seat and wheel when it's above 45 F,
plus you can turn it off on the climate settings on my 15.

When you think of the tech that goes into a vehicle like this the price is truly a bargain and marvel of engineering...

Just replace a light bulb on a Zeiss Microscope... $3200 plus tax... no discounts.

Sine I like old cars for a hobby... I have often wondered what the 1930 guys at Ford, Chrysler and GM would think if a 2019 model was transported back in time... of course there would be no infrastructure of Internet, GPS and similar... but I imagine the radar and brute power with abs, et. al... would be mind boggling...

Oh... Mom's 2011 Corolla has two glove boxes... an upper and lower.

Yes - I found where the controls for the heated seat and steering wheel were. What's also fun. Take yourself for a ride on your ten way drivers seat.

The heated seat back really does feel good on my left shoulder. Now if it only had a massage mode. Pull over - turn on the heat & massage. Take a nice little nap.

They can only put so many comfort features into it though, before you sell your house and start living in the truck. :p

The vehicle decides based on the ambient temps whether to turn the seat and steering wheel warmers on when it is started. It may be that you can change that in settings to not come on, but you definitely won't have to worry about it in summer.
