Good evening all

I know has been hashed around a bit, but I am buying a grapple. I have a Kubota Grand L 4240 HSTC-3 with a cab/Fel etc. I have already ordered the Kubota 3rd function valve (I have a good dealer) and it will be installed in a couple of weeks. I've narrowed it down to 2 grapples:

- Landpride SGC 1060 60"
- EA 60" Wicked Root Rake grapple

I can touch the Landpride but only watch video on the EA. I really like the features on the EA and the way it looks on their website. I think I would be happy with either, but since I'm investing a few hard earned pennies in this set up, I would value opinions from those of you who have either of the ones listed above.

Thanks much in advance! Sam

I have EA wicked grapple 54” dual lid on Kubota B26 and absolutely love it. Better design, engineering and usefulness. Can pickup a pencil, rock to large logs. IMG_0336.JPG

Hard to beat the quality of the EA. Lighter weight and a lot of little details that make it soooo much better. You won't regret getting the EA.

EA 60" Wicked root rake grapple ordered today- should see it in 4-6 weeks. Dealer has my 3rd function valve in so will get it installed in the next week or so. CAN'T WAIT to clean up some stuff!! :)

You’re getting one of the best cleanup tools available. To help my smaller B26, added 2” rear wheel extension, ballasted rear wheels (dealer comped for adding 3rd valve.)and welded expanded metal in the grill guard. Plan to fabricate a skid plate at some point. Do lots of brush work.

Nice! I am going to have a cover welded onto my grille guard too...Rears are already full of ballast. I'm excited! I really think it's going to save me some time on the place (which for me translates into more horse training time).

EA all the way! My bucket came off two years ago and never went back on.

You both are a bit behind me on the wicked 60. I ordered mine a week or so ago. I'm picking up at the factory since local delivery options are suboptimal. Hopefully closer to 4 weeks than 6.

Agreed on 4 weeks! How long a drive is it for you? I'm having mine shipped to my Kubota dealer...

I don't think you can go wrong with the EA. I chose Land Pride. SGC1560 @ 820# I have no brush to worry about. All my use is with huge rock and large chunks of my Ponderosa pine. I had the dealer instal the WR Long third function & grapple. Got a good price and instant availability.

Had mine for over five years now. Never found a reason to put the bucket back on the FEL. The SGC is extreme duty and exactly what I need out here.

It does great for leveling/back dragging and grabbing up large chunks of land and moving from here to there. I can dig a need hole much faster with the grapple than ever possible with the bucket.

Like me - you will find many, many uses for your new grapple.

4 hours each way, but I have friends who just moved close by and plan an overnight trip with the wife. I get to score points with the wife and get a grapple.

Found stainless steel expanded metal piece at the scrapyard. 3”x5” angle at the bottom to help prevent sticks from coming into the grill. Added a receiver hitch but haven’t used it. Would have to be careful with the FEL.
EA wicked grapples have some back bars that helps to keep sticks from poking thru but additional armor helps to prevent damage to the tractor’s vital organs. Brush likes to fight back.
The grapples are one of the most useful tools on the farm. Enjoy!
