I’ve joined a few tractor groups on Facebook and I think that’s where at least some of the activity has moved to. I don’t like that format for this type of discussion however. I’ve been here since 2005 or 2006 and although I don’t post much, I read a lot and I’ve found the forum to be immensely helpful, for both my job and hobbies. I hope DP is OK as well.

I poked around here much more when I actually had tractors. And I agree, I did all sorts of minor modifications and got a lot of great advice here.
Since I've moved on to a skidsteer, I haven't had to do a lot to it maintenance or modification wise. If I do, there simply isn't a lot of help here simply because there are far fewer skidsteer users than tractor users here. Understandable. But SSDoxie in the Bobcat forum is a wealth of knowledge to be sure.
Like any other site, popularity goes up and down. That's just how things work, there's nothing good or bad about it in my opinion.

Was wondering about DP as well. He, as the rest of us do, has his personal experiences, knowledge, and biases to share. In the end it's all information that has to be sifted through to pull out the gems that pertain to our own interests and situation. Hope he is well......maybe he bought a chevy silverado?

LOL, seem to recall he was a dedicated Ford defender and could quote all the rear end specs etc.

He was a big fan of his Nissan truck, back in the day. I hope he is well.

I haven't posted much in recent years, but TBN was part of my daily routine for a long time. The last few years, I switched to using the app on my phone 99% of the time to access it. One day, the app just quit working and there was no update available. Took me I guess around 8 months to realize that there was a totally new TBN app available, and I downloaded it, but since it was out of my life for so long and I'm so busy, it's gone to getting checked once a week or so. I'd imagine a few other who used the app experienced the same issue. That could be a reason some folks are gone as well.

That’s a good possibility. Chime in once in a while so we know you’re still around.

Now that I am retired I dont have my work computer to easily access TBN ...but I am getting better at reading on my cell phone . I too found Diamond's bias hate for GM overbearing and called him out on it a few times. But I appreciated his trailer input info immensely. I hope he is alright.

I dont know that I ever communicated with DP directly but if I see a thread that I have no interest in, I ignore it. The help I have received on this site was tremendous. We are all different and I really don’t care what you drive, or who you bounce up and down on, what tractor you have, what you plow or till with, or where you live. This site is fun, half the things I ask are not even tractor related. I enjoyed the recent thread on Cable/satellite/internet because my wife and I need to consolidate those services. I hope this site is not diminishing because I don’t think there is anything better. A few times I might have gotten a little “uppity” with someone but only after I perceived what was a shot at my personal views.
