Moved the last of the ash from my driveway and a couple truck loads of locust. Finished it before the snow started fallling. My to labs helped keep me company and even wanted in a few pics. I ended up greasing the loader arms and grapple last night as well. Just went over 130 hours after todays work.

Made a payment on a tractor that I am unable to use right now. It is in the shop for repairs.

What kind of repairs? I own a 2555 with 250 hours and the PSU (power steering control valve) was leaking, so I removed it for repairs. It's made in Korea and there are no Mahindra parts available for this. They tell you must purchase a new PSU, only $1,100. I was told they will leak also, maybe in 100 hours. I'm rebuilding my PSU with seals purchased from seal companies. I hope it works. The seals cost less than $30.

Is everyone using the Mahindra brand grease? If you're not, what type are you using?

I use Tractor Supply grease. I look at the temperature ratings on the tubes. I buy a high temp for PTO shaft U-joints and other higher temp areas on the tractor. I use a general purpose grease on the loader. Or, I buy what's on sale. It's does make a difference, but very little. Maybe just in high temp areas.

I built racking in my outbuilding. First level is 5'6", second level is 6'5", 16 feet wide and 8' deep. I now have an place inside, for all implements with moving parts , and my woodsplitter, without losing a ton of floorspace. Put the big grapple, little grapple, PTO splitter, regular splitter, and wood chipper in the new storage area. Used the forks on the 2538 to get some of the items up to the second level.
