Old member from long ago (18 years) is back.

Hi everyone!!
Was a member many years ago but couldn't sign in so came back as a new member.
Newly retired few years ago and just bought a large to me piece of land with house to live my dream. 7 acres in S. East CT needing much site work warrants a larger tractor than what I currently have, which is a B2910.
Being a retired mechanic my hobbies have always revolved around things with motors, tractors being my favorite.
My tractors of choice are John Deere Gt's and Kubota CUT's. Owned many of each over the years.
I worked in a machine shop specializing in heavy equipment repair for a couple years so familiar with some of the related repair work.
I'm less familiar with operating so many ??? Will follow.
My new tractor is a 2006 - L39. The B will be reserved for landscaping, brush hogging, raking, etc. My John Deere GT's, a 445 and 318, will do the mowing.
I now own my favorite Kubota L and B series for diesel power and my favorite GT's for gas powered.
I've put these tractors in excellent working condition and that's 1/2 the hobbies.
I sincerely hope I can contribute in the correct manner without insulting or belittling anyone like I've seen on other forums.
