This is what I use and have moved all my trailers around uphill 25% grade and down (4wd needed on hills!) handiest thing ever bolted onto my BX.
This one is from fabworksoem.com (Fab works OEM)
Not sure if this is the same guy that sold mine (eBay) but it’s the same hitch. I just raise the loader up as high as I need for seeing where I’m going.

Just out of curiosities sake. Why would anyone want to do this using the front of their tractor?

I understand on a skid steer, but on a tractor?!

I was going to say this earlier... but I just think it looks very unsafe and quite odd to be reversing so much. Not to mention putting a lot of stress on the weakest point on a machine.

I was also taught not to reverse a lot in safety school... only when necessary. Thought of it makes me cringe.

There is a guy building the front hitch on eBay. This is the same guy I bought mine from. The first one he sent had a funny bend on it and he sent me another one and told me to keep the bent one.
Search “Kubota BX front hitch” on eBay and it comes right up.

I'm going to wait until the tractor gets here and then decide what to do. There are clamp on receiver hitches for the front edge of the bucket that say they are good for pulling/pushing 5k#s. If you click around some folks have just drilled a hole at the front edge of the bucket and mounted a ball there, with thick steel plate on both sides of the hole to reinforce the bucket. There are a number of ways to skin this cat. And I may just do the three point hitch thing and forget about the front end.

From my experience, there are times when putting a trailer into tight places is way easier hooked to the front end. When hooked to the front end loader you can almost jacknife the trailer and stick it in very tight places. Also there are times when you may want to move a trailer out of the way without removing a 3 point attachment. I can be raking an area and move a trailer, rake where the trailer was and then put it back without getting off the tractor. That has come in handy many times Of course you need to be aware of the stresses and not over do things.

Ah, the right one comes up when I click it. It is the one where the fellow moves a small enclosed trailer out of the way with his bucket, then uses the snow blower to remove the snow that was around the trailer, and then puts the trailer back where it was.

Don’t understand your logic... tongue weight is far less on any reasonably small to large home or farm trailer. If a BX can lift almost 1000 pounds way out front, it can surely handle the weight just in front of the axle. Also with a hitch in the front you’re going forward not reverse except when first hooking it up.
