Utility Tractors Made in India

/ Utility Tractors Made in India #31
I've been around equipment all of my life, and I own a bunch of it now. I tell it like it is and post what MY experiences have shown me.

I have no plans to sugar coat it, so the thin skins don't have to run to their safe spots, I mean it's just EQUIPMENT, no one is talking about your mother... lol IF it makes anyone feel better to say negative things about MY tractor, have at it, I don't care....IT'S A TRACTOR!

You (the posters here) may have a different opinion because they own "that" brand, and that's just fine with me, but that doesn't make it MY experience, when I own the same piece of equipment and I relate about it as I post here.

NO body learns anything from a sugar coated post, all it does is make the owner of that brand "feel good" because he has one in the garage that get's used very little. My equipment has to be depended on and it gets used for farm duty, and if it's not so good, I don't feel the need to BS around the truth to make myself feel better.

I'd rather if some one is THAT thin skinned, just skip over my post and don't read them... That's what "I" do with the couple guys here that "I" feel are know-it-all's lol Either that or I just don't answer them...

OK, back on track here... SO, your tractor was sent to your dealer with problems and YOU don't feel it was a QC issue at the factory?? You blame the dealer for that??

SR

For what it is worth, I have no problem with your posts.

sorry, but I'm tired of contentious people, particularly seeing the same thing in many threads.

Thanks for being blunt and truthful- like you I use my equipment for it's designed purpose and expect it to perform up to standards- if it becomes a turd-I don't polish it- I call it what it is. The corporate world needs more critics and fewer fan-boys. My Harley dealer hated to see me walk in the door- I got a lemon as far as chrome- they had the gall to tell me my chrome wasn't warrantied because I lived at the beach. I recently bought a used 60 HP TYM at a great price- I don't expect a new Grand L experience with it, I expect it to pull, lift, plow, bushhog and the 4x4 to work. Other than a few broken bolts that I swapped for grade 8( should have been grade 8 to start with) and a dumb design for the fuel fill- I am happy.

Keep speaking the truth- it will help others.

I will say I have to agree with Sawyer Rob and Lowcountry Rebel. I have been around equipment all my life .. it costs too much $$$$ for the problems that happen regardless of the brand. The equipment manufacturing is all about $$ they get you sold and then they don稚 know you. They have several issues among all brands .. but getting them resolved is another issue.. usually bigger. I don稚 buy my equipment to baby it . I work it but I don稚 abuse it on purpose.. but I do expect it to work when needed... I agree with the fact that facts are facts ... if people don稚 want to believe the facts it痴 their choice.

Do we really need a bandwagon now, really? I mean what is this turning into FB.... Who cares who thinks what about you're tractor and where is was made.. And the "fan boy" comment, good luck with you're chrome..

Obviously I hit a nerve with the fan boy comment- what is your fan boy crush? That Harley was a turd and I sold it.

It is a sign of the times.
Nobody will say what they really think, for fear of offending the listener.
What a bunch of crap.
Tell someone the chrome was junk, and next you will be labeled a racist.

Hey, being a "fanboy" of a brand (corporation), or a professional sports team (corporation), political party "team", alma mater, etc.. is human nature.

It's tribalism, plain and simple. It's in our genes. How we survived for eons.

It's not rational, but I won't hold my breath expecting people to be.

p.s. I might be one of the know-it-alls Sawyer Rob is referring to.

Funny, they can make a sun dial, but not realize that the sun fades cheap red paint.
It's all about money. My understanding is that the red pigment that doesn't fade is much more expensive than the red that does fade.
