Got a price from local dealer. Drove 40 miles to another and wow. $1000 lower. I was surprised there was that much difference in price. I've bought mowers from the local guy and they just don't negotiate at all. I'll just do a little driving for that price.

It seems you are like me, I would much rather deal with my local dealer, but sometimes it doesn't work out. When I bought my bx2680 the local dealer was over a $1000.00 more. Bought that tractor from Barlows. But when I purchased my F2690 I was able to purchase from my local dealer. My rule of thumb is I would pay 2-300 more from local dealer just to keep it local, but it is money in my pocket also. Good luck on whomever you buy from.

I agree with going local for a few hundred. Went with the dealer with best price on this deal. They will be delivering it on Monday.

New mower arrived yesterday
Now it just needs to warm up enough to use it.

Very nice machine!! I need one about the same as yours. How much did you end up giving for it?

How do you like the 2380? I am currently looking at the same thing, 2380 with 60” mmm and R4 tires.

He is at $12,800 (before tax) for a bx2380, loader valve (no loader), one rear remote, and 60” standard MMM.

i see your location. so, you bought your new BX from Barlows? how did that work out for you? did you spend a day and go get it, or did he deliver it? i take it, you'll use your local kubota dealer if it needs in-house service?
Barlows is WAY cheaper than my local guy, which is surprising because the local guy is huge with about 5 stores.. would obviously like to stay local, but a couple thousand difference is huge

Yes I bought from Barlow’s, the process was very simple and almost all done by email. I had them deliver the tractor for two reasons: first, I was out of state working and second, it was only about $200 more than it would have cost me in fuel. If it needs service I’ll use my local dealer but I don’t anticipate any issues.
