Kubota B6100E Kubota L 2501 Kubota T1460
I went to kioti dealer first this a.m and then to Kubota.

Surprisingly the nearly same speced tractor at Kubota was only about 500 dollars more so if given opportunity I'm gonna go with the Kubota.

I looked at a L2501 DT. Not sure what DT is?

It comes with quick release loader, 4 W.D and manual trans cause I don't like hydrostatic.

Price is 17,520.31 and if I put 5000 down payments would be 198.89 for 5 years.

Warranty is 5 years I think.

Seem like a good deal?

I'm considering trading in my B series, I need a backhoe, backhoe attachment is 7 gees plus and that's alot of money.

What should I expect for trade in value? Guy said they could prob. make it worth my while.

Not crazy about giving up my B series, it's been a great tractor and still has zero issues. IMG_20190302_110111.jpg

What can you guys say about the 2501.

Evidently anything below 25 horse is non emmisioned which is what I want cause the guy said it less computer crap.

The one I'm looking at is 24.8. H.P

Seems like it would do anything I would like it to do on my 5 acre land development project and I believe it will fit in my storage container.

I'm also wondering why a used 2501 on e bay is more money than the new one I'm looking at

The only concern is that it doesn't have a live PTO; which you will miss if you are running a bush hog, rototiller, snowblower, wood chipper, or any other implement where you might want to slow or stop without reducing the RPMs or shutting off the PTO. JMHO but that's a rather stupid design by Kubota, and was a deal breaker for me when I was about to pull the trigger on a new 3301DT.

I have read that on other posts.

I'm wondering if there is some way around that , I'm very mechanically inclined and am thinking I could eventually come up with something when the time came

It’s works the same as my ‘52 Ford 8N. Most people are turned off by that, and it may be difficult to resell when the time comes because everyone wants HST for loader work and ease of use.

Hydro model solves the PTO problem. Good luck fixing the PTO issue. And good luck selling it if you should ever want to. I would highly advise getting the hydro model. Highly.

I found that Kubota prices were very close to other competitors and for the money I believe Kubota offers a better tractor.

Not quite though. At least the hydraulics are live... and when you are bushhogging the mower won't keep pushing after you throw in the clutch. (I know, you probably have an overriding shaft.)

He just said that he doesn't want HST, and I don't blame him. Before compromising, it's better to look around more to find what he wants. Rather than being concerned with selling before he even purchases, it's better to avoid buyer's regret in the first place.
