OK...mounted the Sawhaul on the left loader post, and I ordered an extra U bolt/plate for the right side. Took some scrap Unistrut, expanded metal and a pc of 1" x 1/8" flat bar, and made a 6" x 15" holder for the new gas/oil can.

I bought the Husqvarna fuel/oil can from Amazon a couple a months ago. It is very well designed and made. The transparent bar shows fluid levels and makes easy work at getting the two cycle mix correct. The price was very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

I also liked it but the shipping being nearly another 1/2 the price is holding me back.

I have the Kolpin saw holder and like it but one of the PITA things on it is the flat washer under the knob is not captured so you have to screw with it when you are closing the clamp. It falls between the clamps and has to be slid back up to the knob.

I have the same problem. I just screw it down without the washer.

I keep my chainsaw in the front bucket and let it idle when driving from tree to tree in our orchard. The thought of starting a chainsaw 2-300 times a day at each tree makes my head spin. Also keep the gas mix, chain oil and tools in the bucket for transport. Any type of chainsaw scabbard in my case would be a answer looking for a question...

Wow! I didn't see this thing before. It's really handy thing, i hope, because I'm sick of picking up chainsaw from tractor's cabin. Will SawHaul fit to Makita Chainsaw (The middle one here)? Thank you!

That saw will fit no problem. It’s a universal carrier so most saws fit without issues.

Agree carrying a chainsaw on a tractor is handy. Also the Husqvarna has/oil container is the best combo available. Often need other tools too. Bolt on solution has ground skid plates to help protect hydraulic lines. <$100 in materials.

Dad (rip) and I cut wood all the time at home. We had a homemade trailer, wooden we made a steel bottom for it, easy to unload gavel, dirt, etc. We towed it behind tractor and everything was in it...saws, fuel, oil, ax, etc. I made a box for front for chains, pullers, extra chain, tools, etc.
I still use it here. To me that's always been the most handy plus we could carry logs or brush. The hitch is on the lift so it's like a dump trailer.
