wash and wax

On my previous tractor the area under the rubber floor mats rusted out before anywhere else even had rust. I’m convinced it was from washing/hiding it off after every use. The water would just sit under those mays with nowhere to go.

I’ve considered something like a Rhino Lining on my Mahindra to replace the rubber mats.

That's a good idea !

But I might leave the rubber mats on top of the spray liner, just to catch the heavy mud, or other stuff.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the liner material in a spray can. Might have to do a few coats, but area is small anyway.

I was hoping that some one would know how to add wax to the water for the pressure washer. Clean and wax in the same time, that would be nice.
It is done in the car wash, isn't it?

That's hot water, hot wax. I'm not sure how practical it would be for the homeowner/farmer.

You can buy a can of brush on "Herculiner" at Lowe's ($25).
It is the same type product as "Rhinoliner" and works great.

I took my mats up, sandblast, ospho, paint, then Herculiner.
Did the pedal surfaces too.
Still looks perfect, after 3 years.

I threw the mats away, as they hold water underneath.

How durable is that for metal abrasion? I have a place on the rear fenders where the lift arms rub when I have them pulled up to attach the BH. For now I have some self adhesive rubber diamond plate applied there, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Masking and spraying or brushing would be simple IF it would last.

Durable for foot traffic, not sure about your issue, but would think maybe not.

Hmm. Didn't think about that.

I’ll have to do this, easier and cheaper than removing the parts to have them done. Thanks

The thing I hate most, is the loader being in the way of waxing the tractor front. That and white wax on black plastic parts.

If you can make a job like that more fun, it's likely to get done more often. A FOAM CANON, can be bought cheap off E-Bay and makes washing stuff more fun.
Turtle wax makes "liquid ice wax" will not leave white on black paint. You can actually wax all the black paint and black plastic bits.
