Walk the plank mouse trap

I use these mouse bait.jpg in a pail like this.bait pail.jpg. It's the best thing I've ever done to control mice. You need to check for dead mice about once every two weeks. The antifreeze seems to pickle them so they don't smell. In one year I cleaned up about 70 mice in the pictured pail.

I've had people I know die from Hanta virus so I have no tolerance for mice.

If you are worried about the mice's feelings, you shouldn't get a cat.

Cracks me up when people say only humans kill for fun. Cats are the worst of the worst serial killers. But they are cuter.
The great thing about cats is they do the work for me. I just have to pick up the remains left at our front or back door. Pretty independent pets that hang around just for cat food and like attention when they are in the mood.

A dog on the other hand, always loves attention on your terms. Can you tell I'm a dog lover? Cats serve a purpose but are no friend of mine (don't let the females in my life hear this). My :twocents:

I am just pointing out that cats are cold blooded killers who enjoy torture.

Actually lots of animals kill for other reasons than food. House cats may be the mot sadistic though.

I got lots of dogs, and a cat.

Oh. good golly, mice are rodents!
Any 5 gal bucket placed near anything that they can climb and they will jump in to get whatever 'bait' of rodent food you offer., be it corn or peanut butter.
If you are 'green' then use about 4-5 inches of water so that the will drown, otherwise simply squash them B4 disposing the corpses.
Give me a break!
Would U give a flee or a tick all those 'humane' considerations?
A rodent is a rodent!
People have different viewpoints, and they can change over time.

For most of my life, my dad was quite intent on killing groundhogs at every opportunity. During the last winter of his life, he was almost completely bedridden.

While I was visiting with him, I noticed a groundhog hole that was dug under the foundation of his storage shed, and I offered to set the box trap for it. He said, "No, it'll be OK. We'll wait until spring."

I don't know that spring had anything to do with it. As he was approaching the end of his life, he just seemed more reluctant to take another life.

Once knew neighbor woman who's cat liked to show off his kills.
His favorite was to deposit them on her pillow.
Yuck!

But then she was yuck also.

I had to switch browsers to duck duck go. Chrome kept tipping my wife off to what new toys I was looking at by the ads that were popping up. Lol.

Lol....this could go two ways. I guess that at an advanced age my mind still resides in the gutter.
