Moron Parks in Front of Fire Hydrant

Far too many people here are being far too judgmental of the drivers who parked by hydrants in these examples. There was surly some extenuating circumstances or third party to blame. You are only condemning drivers because you think they must be from another country,a liberial,non-christian,person of color,lead an alternate lifestyle or don't share all your values. What would you say if it were a young,white,colledge educated couple from middle America that stopped for dinner and drinks at the country club? :stirthepot:

Texas fire dept. using ‘blocker’ apparatus to increase safety

It took less than 10 months for an impaired moron to hit and destroy one of Irving TX’s repurposed ‘blocker’ trucks after the concept was implemented.

Studies by traffic experts revealed something that was labeled "Moth Effect". Unattentive,sleepy and intoxicated drivers sometimes fixate on then drive straight into the lights. There's a lesson to be learned. If you have a flat,do not stop on the shoulder,drive on the flat until you are completely away from traffic.

Or find a bridge abutment, guardrail, etc that you can pull behind so that it will block traffic.

I have actually parked in front of a fire hydrant going to a demolition derby. Only spot I saw. Didnt even notice it until after the small ticket in the window. Was small like $25 or so.

I would not be upset if a window got smashed out or my truck get rammed to have access to it.
