what is the resin for removing mowerdeck when using backhoe on BX25

Do you mean "reason"?
The two most obvious reasons would be risk of damage and reduced ground clearance.

I don't know the reason Kubota gives, but I know when using a backhoe I have lifted the front end of my tractor by accident. If the mower deck was on it probably would have damaged it.

Just curious, I don't have a MMM on my BX25D but why would lifting the front wheels cause damage to the MMM?

Because unless you are on flat ground you could eliminate your ground clearance by pulling your tractor back with the backhoe and drag your mmm into higher ground or a mound of dirt and rocks.

Sorry, are your front wheels on higher or lower ground than the rears? Or is there a crest involved? Please don't take my questions wrong. I'm just trying to understand the situation.

>shrug< - Lock it in high travel position, backhoe to hearts content. Not sure why it would be damaged but guess I'll find out. Far as I can tell the deck protects many more expensive bits.

I guess where you and I would use the backhoe is different. I have to drive over rocks, stumps etc. to get to what I want to use my backhoe. I am just saying the ground is not only not even but rocky and stumpy where I am. I would destroy a mmm if I kept it on. I guess if you are sitting on a lawn or flat gravel you may be ok.

Gotcha. I can’t imagine working with my BX with a mower underneath. My terrain wouldn’t allow it whether my back hoe is on or off.

This question has came up regarding the BX24 also. As I recall part of the reason, other that clearance etc., had to do with the hydraulics. Something about with the mower deck up and locked there is a potential for surges in the hydraulic system causing damage. I don't understand, I just leave my deck off.
