WoW - I guess so. What I've done, in the past. A ten foot 2x4 clamped on the bucket. Vertical and tilted somewhat forward. Contact the snow laden trees before they dump on me. Worked ok but it was just one more thing to watch as I back bladed the snow.

The pines grow along the banks on the driveway like weeds. The continual snow plowing and summer maintenance cracks the pine cones and moves the seed to the banks.

Finally got 500 miles on the PW. Been running around town - short trips. Overall MPG average - - 14.1MPG.

I think we are finally out of our "snow season". Definitely into the "mud season".

I remembered to check the weight of the Power Wagon today. On the grain scales - - 7540#.

I had to go into town today - new microwave oven. In the parking lot of Bed, Bath & Beyond. I guy came over and began giving me a bad time about going out and tearing up the country with my big truck and its big tires. An obvious "greenie" tree hugger.

I don't think he believed me when I told him it was just a short muddy stretch in my driveway.

Whatever.............

Good thing the new microwave came in a strong box. I had to stand on the box so I could get up on the tailgate and move the Cargo Management divider further forward. I definitely have to find that small folding plastic step stool or buy a new one.

No disrespect meant but it isn't the grey haired 76 YOs that I see out "tearing up the country", no matter what you're driving.

Nor the 76 YO's with shaved heads either( ME ). It's been over 40 years since I've been out tearing anything up. The cost of repairs & the effort required to get "un-stuck" is deeply ingrained in my memory.

No disrespect taken Jstpssng. It's just too much work and cost too much to be out tearing things up. I don't even "tread lightly" anymore. I just don't GO OUT where I leave ruts or damage. This country will dry out soon enough. Then I can go out and only leave clouds of dust.

I have the similar when taking out the Model A Ford... total strangers will approach and lecture me on how these cars do not belong on the road... they pollute or the politics of Henry Ford the man...

I am sure there are plenty that believe there should be a means or needs test to buy a car... do you really need a car and if so... what kind of car... etc...

Soon it will probably apply to the size of your house based on the number of occupants... all about what is equitable is the new buzzword...
