My Sierra tells all 4 tire pressures any time that you are at that screen, which is kind of handy. The TPM really, REALLY didn't like it that time I drove somebody's pulp hook through the sidewall and out through the tread. My Ranger does none of the above, you have to get out and look to tell if a tire is flat, and use a pressure gauge to tell how much air is there.

The Ram does too. It's just that he made a pressure change while it was sitting still and it takes a minute to register the change once the wheels start to rotate. In normal conditions it would read the pressures from the last time it was moving.

My Silverado tells the air pressure in each tire too... That's pretty common now a days...

Thank you for the clarification.

I think I gave the wrong impression. The TPM screen shows a picture of a vehicle with all four tires. Because the vehicle had not moved - it only indicated that the one tire was low. The other three tires showed the pressure the last time the vehicle moved. If I drove the vehicle a short distance - the new pressure in all four tires would have been indicated.

The Power Wagon has two rear mounted "viewing" systems. One for monitoring the load in the bed - the other for backing up. Just the other day I finally found the little "eye" for the back up system. Bad location - right next to the tail gate handle. Always gets spray, dust etc on it this time of year. Got to remember to clean it off every now and then. Glad to see that both eyes have a glass outer lens - not plastic.

Also handy for hooking up a gooseneck trailer .

Well - a good morning out with the Power Wagon. Still learning all the ins/outs of the digital systems in the truck. An exciting morning also - I accidentally triggered a theft alarm to Sirius XM Guardian. I "paired up" my Apple iPhone XR. Figured out how to make a phone call by just speaking. Got remote vehicle start working. Found that remote vehicle start will not function with the hood raised. Listed all my favorite artists on Sirius XM radio. Found that the few "contact" phone numbers I have on my phone can be called with voice command in the truck. I think that's possible on just the phone - haven't figured THAT out yet.

AND - yes, XFaxman - I see that the rear "backup camera systems" could be a great help connecting a trailer. Either goose neck or frame mount. I was surprised when I saw that the back up system "looked down" enough to see the rear bumper.

It's been raining - the muddy dog foot prints on the living room carpet are probably dry by now. Time to vacuum.

Re: The "TACO WAGON" has arrived

My 2500 recommends 65 front and 80 rear. I run about 50 all the time unless I'm hauling heavy. The ride is rough enough at these pressures, I'd hate to see how bad it is at max pressure empty.

Rob
Bouncy, lol. I been running around 80 in mine, hate to add air when i want to haul something.
Planning to get a bed step myself, not as young as i was, it hurts when i jump out of the bed now,and it's hard to pull myelf up to get in, lol

Think my low tire warning comes on below 60 psi.

Believe me - at 42" to the tail gate - I do NO "pulling up". It's even too tall for me to lean over it and roll up. AND without some type of exit assist - it would be a LONG day back in the bed.
