Jay & Paul,
Thanks, challenge with Kalani is she eventually figures out the hidden pill. Bologna, hot dogs, salami, pepperoni, peanut butter, cheese... a solid pill usually gets the mortar and pestle treatment, but not capsules. So called “chewables” ya right.
Quality of life - that’s the key for us.

It's kind of sad that our elderly with canes, crutches, and walkers open and hold the door open for me (with makes me crazier) while those of a clueless, healthier, younger, and more entitled generation ignore me (which is ok; sr*w them anyways), but do show any signs of courtesy in respecting those older with ambulation challenges far greater than my own:mad:.

It's the "me" generation, Jay.

I shop at Costco and other stores during the day, and I see a lot of gray hair in the process. I try to keep an eye out for other like-haired folks struggling with a large package or full cart; women with small kids, too. A helping hand offered is often declined with a smile, and when taken returns a much bigger smile.

Our Costco is adjacent to some sort of assisted living facility. A few Christmases ago, I watched as a wheelchair bound man struggled to get across a street and up and over a curb. No one offered to help him, even though he was obviously stuck. It was almost dark, so I flipped on the emergency flashers on the truck, put it in park and locked the brake, but left it running so I could see what I was doing. Blocked the exit and jumped out, got the old guy unstuck and on his way with a "Merry Christmas", to which he replied with a bewildered stare and then sloooooly rolled away into the darkness. Made me wish I could follow him to see what else he might have needed, paying it forward because, if we're lucky, we're all headed to where he was then. There were probably ten people backed up behind me when I made it back to the truck, and not a one of them got out to offer a hand or even see what was going on. An unfortunate sign of the times, I suppose...:(

Don, which model Stinger did you get? If your KIA treats you as well as mine has me, you will enjoy it.

Bill- Those AGM batteries are quite expensive. At one point I wanted to convert my little sailboat to electric auxiliary power using AGM batteries. The cost of the fancy German trolling motor and the batteries exceeded the value of the boat. I hope you have a safe trip.

I think I looked at the same German outboards for my 16 foot Scout. I had too much range anxiety about running out on the water plus it all added up to eye opening totals.

so Don surprises us all and gets a snazzy rocket sled for his wife. It's a South Korean Audi with way more power. From all the articles Don I think you are going to like it a lot. Very highly rated car.

Kelani looks glad to be home. The paw over head is perfect.

Jay, keep healing and don't get pulled head over teacups by your dog. He must make quite an impression when he is woof woofing
at the front door. You know, the type that rumbles the front carpet mat?

111 peppers in. I'm whupped. More tomorrow.

What I thought was going to be a mellow day turned into a surprise.....

Seems there is a minor issue in France/Germany with a customer. 4 people have punted on resolving it. I am expected to be there 1st thing Monday morning and get it resolved.

It has is Easter week......travel to/from Europe is stupid on price. But hey, it is only money.....

Stay tuned!

Rich- Good luck on the flights and the "resolution". I am assuming that all the $ is well spent thanks to you.

David- 12 years together is reflective of a well cared for great life in process. Thanks for the bird ID. A reason someday to visit HA.

"... if we're lucky, we're all headed to where he was then."- RNG. Thanks to you he could keep on moving and continue living out his life. We all should be so lucky down the road to have someone like you lending us a helping hand. At this point I doubt it will happen unless we are lucky.

Drew- Range and wind where I generally sailed ruled out confidence in a battery getting me back to my "mooring." I already had enough experienced problems with a hydrophobic 4HP, 2 stroke O/B... but I always despite wind and situation made it home by "Happy Hour" and usually with a few "stories."

Ted- Good luck tomorrow with the orthopod.. Strangely I was not put on an excercycle today at PT.

Premium
I was looking for one the same price as the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4.
Randy, what do you put on the cars at a car show to make them shine?
This one does not ave the $599 paint protection package the Toyota port dealer added and expected you to pay smiling.
