Just sold 2004 BX23 with 1150 hours. All fluids and filters changed approximately every 100 hours (once a year). Demonstrated machine with no issues. My brother calls me and tells me that some of the hydraulic functions don't work. Pivoting the front bucket works (left right function on stick. Bucket raises but will not go down unless you float it. Sounds like it is straining if you try to lower it using pressure. Backhoe bucket function works, but arm will not extend. Sitting on seat as if you were using backhoe you can move arm to the right but not the left. I have taken unbelievable care of this machine I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is one of the hydro quick disconnects came loose in transport. Disconnect and reconnect. Sounds like the relief valve is kicking in because it can’t flow rather than the hydraulics straining. Simple solutions first.

Make sure your 3PH control valve is not in the up or raise position (should be down). My B2320 FEL will not lower but will tilt the bucket when valve is on raise.

It was the 3PH in the raise position. Thanks so much. My brother needs to get used to operating the tractor.
