Today was a replica of the previous two weather-wise. 66ºF presently and the clouds are starting to move in for tonight's/tomorrow's rain showers with possible T-storms. Today's activity was/is focused on weeding and mulching our hummingbird attracting flower garden. A good workout for the cubital tunnel BS. Topical lidocaine seems to work pretty well with the resultant pain and swelling. I've been considering trying a topical CBD product.

David- I am sorry that you had to go to "Plan B or C." From what you have shared of your property picture-wise I would bet your brick work will look professionally done.

BEF- Good luck with your new mower. The more I think about it the more I think my JD D130 is not up to the task of my activities around here. This is the second time the HST failed on this rider mower. I may have to result to either string-trimming the lawn around the house or using the rotary cutter on the NH.

going to take a nap. No rain at home, about to get severe thunderstorms here, Warrington Pa, tonight plus they have had four inches of rain

Jay, yes they were. Draft beer, choice of three whites and 3 reds, impressive, and two prepared Chinese entries that were good, but
pretty salty and my mouth is buzzing from the MSG. So a decent full meal, and an apple for dessert.

76 degrees this morning for a low, predicted to go to 88, but 90 currently. But the good news was that 20 mph southerly breeze and clouds that kept the sun covered most of the morning. It had been 9 days since the yard was mowed, because it's been so wet with too much rain, and it was in dire need of mowing. That breeze this morning prevented the moisture of dew, so I got out before 7:30 a.m. and before 9 a.m. had it mowed, edged, trimmed, and my equipment cleaned up and put away. So I got a shower and we drove over to the north edge of Ft. Worth to see how the setup was going on a new double wide mobile home that our younger daughter recently bought. After driving around a bit with our daughter, we started home a little after noon, and my wife mentioned that she was hungry, so we stopped at Babe's in Roanoke and ate too much fried chicken, salad, hot biscuits, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, iced tea, honey, and molasses. For those who are not familiar with Babe's, they are all located in old buidings such as abandoned fire stations, an old city hall, etc.; no menu, served family style. Today the choice was fried chicken or chicken fried steak. It's one of those pitch till you win deals (all you can eat), but they brought all we could eat to start with; sure didn't need anymore.
