Do I have to give my neighbor a 30 day notice to move something he has put on my farm

Sometimes just receiving a letter from an attorney on official letter head is all that is needed to strike fear into the offending party and have the issue/issues resolved without any further action.

The attorney's fee may cost a few bucks, but better than getting into a pizzing contest ....

Except when YOU escalate to sending a letter from your attorney, he may respond with a letter from his attorney. You do not want to trigger that. Much better ways to resolve this.

If i got that letter, i would ignore it ( but then i wouldnt put a storage container on someone elses property).

First house i sold, buyers looked at it before there was carpet in the lower level, that i said i would carpet. So i had it carpeted shortly before closing. I got a letter from the buyer later saying they had to replace the carpet because my cat peed on it, and they wanted me to pay for it. I contacted a lawyer friend who said ignore it.
I dont know if my cat had peed on it, and they had a home inspector look at it.

I do sleep at holiday inn express, and im a great lawyer in my dreams.

Not if a person doesn't know all the legal issues involved. And the O.P. already found that same neighbor to be uncooperative about an entirely different matter.

It's not like an issue of someone trying to gain a "quiet title" to a peace of real estate. It's a matter of trespassing and destruction of privet property (trees). I'm quite sure there are lawyers' legal terms for all this, but in this case, it's certainly not "rocket science".

See a lawyer, he is a squatter, send a certified mail , he has 10 day to remove his property, or it will become yours.

I would shove it across the line and built a fence. Personally, I would prefer a moat with sharks, but in a pinch I have used logs and other trash to stop people from crossing.
