Rained until 4pm. Conserved a lot of energy.
Had visitors today. They wanted to know if my cameras pickup movement on road. Nope only if car comes up drive.

Wifey made a nice pot roast, with green beans out of our garden, and brand spanking new potatoes. It was 4 lb roast and it just about got wiped out. My 2 youngest hit it hard.

I know it's a big deal, but it seems weird to me for you folks up north already stacking firewood and kindling. Sorry about your wife not wanting to do pellets Thomas.

It is 95F and humid here. We missed a big storm that passed us by.

Will try to finish leveling road base for the shed tomorrow. We were wanting about 4-5" worth, but ended up closer to 8" thick. Got her moneys worth.

I like the wide tires less chance of spinning and damaging the lawn.

Edger came just in time today as I was finishing up mowing. My newest EGO tool:

I was just using my ego weed eater to edge the curb and driveway but this is faster and straighter.

Green has returned. Another couple inches of rain last night, looks much better out there. I can hear the potatoes cheering.

Lots to do today, couple of friends may stop over and pick veggies, I need to weed and keep picking.
Most importantly, spraying garden with spinosad to kill the bugs chomping the cabbages, and some calcium to help the tomatoes and peppers.

59 pleasant degrees this morning heat and humidity gone for a while. Ran thru hail storm on the way to therapy yesterday evening hail the size of golf balls

A nice damp 64 outside as the rain just stopped. Got a big storm last night, so total 1.3 inches. Needed it.

Don, nice edger...battery tools have really gotten to be a good buy. Curbs and sidewalks look so nice neatly edged. I think the closest curb and sidewalk from here is about 5 miles away at the school.

No internet connection yesterday, but here I am again...

42 right now...high in the low 70's today,...and rain.

Yesterday was a great day to finish mowing, but the ZTR's PTO switch (for engaging the blades) failed. I think this is a common problem with Deere ZTR's. Anyway, I'll pick one up today.
Other chores: dump run and haircut. If I get the dump run and haircut and replace the PTO switch before it rains, I'l finish the lawn today. Oh yeah...need to change the water filter too!

Does look black,not as much hair as our coyotes have tho.
