"LIKE" Button; and A button to back up to a quote !

Can we permanently expel from the known universe any person that promotes the use of anything as silly as a 'Pat on the Back' or 'AttaBoy- Gold Star' button?

Use the advanced google search for TBN and you will find the many previous threads about a "like button" etc., et al. and why the suggestion is always nixed by a large majority... (and rightfully so)...

If you click the >> icon after a members name in a quoted text box it will link you the quoted post...

As I stated, I did a search on the "LIKE BUTTON"... but the search function didn't return what I was after and with all the added LOOKING needed after searching I gave up and just asked the question... maybe I had the same problem as did the rest of the people the KEEP asking about the like button.

Might be easier just to add the Button and get it over with !

My intention was to help out, I was not asking to get and as nicely as I can say it..., get a lot of junk responses to my question.

One admin might say we have discussed this a number of time and it will not happen... that would have ended it but since we have members that feel the need to respond in ways other than productive to the Site, then this is using up storage pace far in excess of the intended question would have.

As for storage space, many years ago some members were suggesting the site would run out of space if folks kept posting large photos. The owners of TBN assured us they'd never ever run out of space.

I used the google search at the top of this page and searched for "need a like button". It returned 8 different threads in the first two pages of the search that had the exact phrase "need a like button".
