Scrambler, click on my screen name for contact info..
1 thing to check BEFORE u go jackin the screws..
Is the shut off solenoid adjusted correctly.??
IT COULD BE holding the pumps control rack from reaching full power..
& again, contact me & we'll walk down that path..

Thanks for the offer.
I will try to remember to contact you when I get back to the Tractor.
Honey-Do List is getting attention for a week or so, just to shorten it down some.

Thx

I've been reading and watching videos about More Power !

One video stated that when looking for a larger tractor, to get the feel of an increase in power, you need to go at least 33-50% higher in power and weight.
Something for me to think on; my little Max28 does most of what I need, so all I need is to clean things up some, and be happy with what I have.
She is the right size for the space I have, the area is being opened up more every week, so what my actual future needs will be is up in the air.

I need to review all of the other power increase threads and see where they are going.

Unless you install a larger hydraulic pump, larger cylinders will take longer to fill. 20% larger cylinders, 20% more time. Excruciating time.

For ten acres a tractor increase of 2,700 pounds bare tractor weight to 3,800 pounds bare tractor weight is appropriate, depending on what proportion of the land will be worked and whether it is level or hilly.

The Tractor weight thing goes along to with the videos I have watched and the things I have read, almost 50% increase.

I do not know a lot about hydraulics, that said, I always thought if the hyd-system was full there wouldn't be any lag time in response but now thinking on it, it isn't something I even considered.

Once I read a few more threads on this site, I will reprocess the info and decide what and where I am going !
