My son installed mine. Not sure who installed Birds. Jim Inman and I saw Birds when we visited him at his home a few years ago.

I hired a professional to put the vinyl siding on the shop, the patio ceiling, around the front door, and all the eaves, soffit, etc. In other words, I decided when we bought this place that I never wanted to have to do any outdoor painting again.

I am big on a product called Tilex, it is a bathroom cleaner. I usually spray it on when the sun angle is just right, and walk away. Mother Nature does the rest, sun...rain.

I have all white buildings and wood around here. I usually do this in spots every 18-24 months.

I used bleach in the past, but the "mildew" would always seem to pop up in a shorter cycle than I wanted.

I think the Wet&Forget would work faster, on my siding, if it got more sun. But if it got more sun, I probably wouldn't have the problem in the first place?

Looks great Ron! I need to get some new 4' x 6' flags on order. This was earlier in the spring. Big storms recently, have started the ends shredding a bit.

Rick I have been using this EZ clean and it did not disappoint me. After cleaning it passed the white glove test!
Ready to sand.

Looks really nice, Don. Why were you refinishing it again? ;)

Given any thought to removing that ceiling fan? Typically all that's involved is dropping the cover and removing a bolt or two, after you've disconnected the electrical wires of course. Not trying to make work for you, but it would get the blades out of the way and keep them and the housing from accumulating drips of polyurethane.

Since the pic of JV20 was a hit....here is the boy I am helping #35:

The finger is getting better. Took a wide berth around that hickory tree when I was mowing tonight

Went to HS homecoming parade. Actually was in the parade wearing a buckeye shirt, they honor each class every 5 yrs, and this was my (cough cough) anniversary... Good to see some of the people from HS, but not going to any of the other activities.signal-2019-06-14-211219-1.jpeg

RNG, that sounds like heck of a system.
Also sounds like a challenge for the pumps/inverters/ battery capacity. Maybe some sort of relay that could trigger the generator for startup? I know there are people that run pumps that don’t appear to have as much a system as you are discussing. Perhaps go to the Outback forum OutBack Power Technologies User Forum • Index page
Do a search, maybe post to ask referencing your particulars.

I tried that a year or two ago,on our white stone, and had mixed results. Glad to hear you had a good outcome. It really looks good. Have you decided what your going to re-coat it with?

Have you looked at the Flood outdoor sealers? They have both clear and lots of colors. We use the Flood Clear on all our rough cedar trim, shutters, posts etc.
