260TL loader vs. 270TL on a Boomer 55

Every radio antenna lead I have ever seen including the one used on Boomer cabs has a ground conductor in the sheath that connects positively to the radio chassis. An additional ground would serve no purpose.
That is true there is a shielding sheath. That sheath is usually grounded to the chassis at the antenna mount not through the radio.

Kinda difficult to ground the antenna mount to the chassis when the roof panel is non conductive as most tractor cab roofs are.
We may as well not debate further because it isn’t likely I’m going to change my view.

How did this post go from loader selection to cab options?

I just ordered a new Boomer 55 a couple weeks ago at my local dealer. They don't have a "Boomer" on the lot and do not stock them. Their excuse is that most customers want the cheaper Workmaster's. They know very little about Boomers. The salesman did not even know that NH made one with a CVT transmission until I brought it to his attention. While we were discussing options I asked if there was another loader besides the 260TL that was available and he said that he was not aware of it. Since then I have discovered that a 270TL is available for the Boomers with the CVT transmission and I would think you could put one on a Boomer 55 with HST. The 270 has a lift capacity of 1000 lbs. more than the 260 which I like. One of the reasons I am stepping up to a 55 from my TC34DA which I purchased new back in '08 is the much higher loader lifting capacity. Does anyone out there know for sure that a 270TL FEL will fit on a Boomer 55 ? It's no use to ask the dealer as they probably don't know. I am getting a cab, 935GBH BH, radio, front grill and just about every option you can get on a 55 and I sure don't want to skimp on a loader on a tractor that's costing me over 50K ! This is the last new tractor that I will ever purchase. Anybody know for sure if it will work and if it will I will get it instead of the 260.

pretty sure the 270 is for the SUPER STEER model
it sticks out a little farther to clear the wheels but has less weight capacity as a result
