And yeah it’s lazy. I could easily turn around and look. But it has a little cool factor and what the heck, it’s my tractor.

Thanks for the update, gunny!

Can't wait to see it up close and personal

No, its not lazy. I couldn't see my pallet fork tips when they are right off the ground and level. I can now.

I can also swivel my rear one and keep an eye on haybine and baler without breaking my neck all day! Last week I used the rear one to watch my flail mower while trimming the side ditch for alignment.

Nicely done. I don’t feel so lazy now.

Could you take a few shots with it at night? I'd like to see how it works in the dark!

That's a pretty sweet setup! Is there a thread where you list your components (brand/source/cost?)

I bought this....

Fookoo Ⅱ HD Backup Camera System Kit,7''1080P Reversing Monitor+IP69 Waterproof Rear View Camera,Sharp CCD Chip, 100% Not Wash Up,Truck/Semi-Trailer/Box Truck/RV (FHD2-Wired) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JQC51NB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vyypDbJ3HS7DG

The company has been great about service. Yes it is an expensive setup. But they are sending a replacement camera at no cost and expectation of a return for one of the cameras that is having some interference.

I used magnets to mount the camera on the back and front. This way I can move it as I want to.

The wiring was pretty straight forward, zip tie it out of the way and ran it through a rubber grommet in the floor. I tied it into the power on one of the fuses.

Thanks Gunny! I badly want to make an off-color remark about the camera's brand name ("Twins, Basil! Twins!!!" - Austin Powers), but probably should keep these RK threads family-friendly...

That is nice and clear. I have a cheap 480 line camera on mine. I may need to upgrade.

What brand monitor and cameras?

Link above. Both made and shipped by same company. Customer service has been unexpectedly very good!!! They respond immediately and they are shipping me a smaller cable at no extra cost.

Hey Gunny - getting ready to order this setup for my RK from Amazon. Couple questions:
-Any regrets?
-Did you shorten the cables?
-Where did you pull power?
Thanks in advance!

I pulled power from the fuel pump fuse so that when the tractor is turned on the cameras and monitor power up. The monitor also comes with an inline fuse.

I used the cables that were supplied. I’m thinking one of the longer cables is what it causing some interference on the front cam.

The company is replacing the front camera and sending me a shorter cable - for free. And they don’t want me to send the other stuff back.

Regrets, none. The company is in Asia, so slight, very slight language barrier. I’ve handled everything by email with lightning quick respond. Like immediate responses. But shipping on their end takes for-ever!!!!!

Otherwise no regrets at all. I mounted magnets to the bottom of the cameras so that I can move them around on the loader, grapple, loader arms, etc.

Hope this helps.

hi Gunny,

How tall and wide is the monitor with and with out the mounting bracket. I like where you mounted it over the steering wheel but I don't want it to stick up over the end of my hood.

I wonder if the mounting magnet is causing the interference with the camera.

I don't know about that. Being able to keep an eye on the implement and watch where you are driving at the same time is a nice thing!

I tried it with both cameras. One has zero issues with the magnets and the other does. They are sending a replacement so I’ll know when it comes in.
