2360 Snow Blower on GC1732E (2019)

I get about 140 inches of annual snowfall each year and some years 240 inches as shown in the picture, this is a walking path around our house for the wife in the winter, her greenhouse is to the right.

I have added some 0.125 thick aluminum diamond plate (free) about 18 inches high to the MF Snowblower to stop the Snowblowers vertical carved snow banks from falling off behind the Snowblower.

Last year was the first year that I used my MF Dozer Blade all winter long (what a challenge), only to gain a lot of user experience with the Dozer Blade during a normal year of snowfall.

I do not think it is much of a issue to swap out the Snowblower and Quick Hitch to the Front End Loader and back as long as you have a warm and dry area to do the swapping.

B.T.W. The Snowblower wins the snowfall war easily, with the Dozer Blade coming in second, followed by the Front End Loader, and at the very bottom of the list in last place is the snow shovel.

Jim will do!
Even on an off year we get around 100 inches. So I値l have plenty of snow to try this on.
After looking at every aftermarket blower put there and weighing my options I really think I値l just do the 2360 front blower and deal with the hassle of swapping if I have too. I will probably only have to do it 1-2 times per winter so if it痴 a 20min job so be it.
Better then backing to blow. Or the added expense of a skid steer quick attach unit (which seems to be double the price).

No way can I back blow snow being I have a fused and plated neck and a morphine pump for chronic pain so a front mount snowblower is the only way I’ll go, I will put a soft cab on and then get a 12 volt heater from the auto parts store to keep it warm inside. Being your 1723e is just the newer version of the 1705 I just bought I want to hear how the 22.5 hp does with it. Here is what I use right now along with the Husqvarna and 42 inch snowblower.

Jim.

Here is one data point for you. I have a 1720 rated at 24.5 HP at sea level and I am at 5800 feet. The elevation de-rate puts my tractor well below 22.5 HP and it does just fine with a 60 inch blower flinging heavy Sierra Cement. I occasionally have to slow down in a heavy drift and let the engine catch up, but not a real problem.

Thanks, gives me something to put in the pipe. I am at about 1432 feet without looking it up, the 1720 does have a bit more hydraulic flow then the 1705 which is a advantage with the blower.

I have a little bigger tractor and front mount blower. I installed a high pressure ball valve in the line that raises the loader.
I remove the bucket or forks, then raise the loader up just so i can walk under the arms.
I do not remove the loader to mount the blower. Just raise the loader to the right height, close the ball valve, relieve all pressure on the fittings, then detach the 4 quick couplers. I then attach the 4 hydraulic lines that control the swivel chute and (raise and lower) function of the blower, so the loader is completely dead in this mode.
To use the loader, i need to drop the blower off and reattach the 4 loader hydraulic lines, but thats fairly quick. Hardest part is reattaching the blower drive shaft to the tractor.
