Two hours north/west of Toronto

45 minutes south of Owen Sound

Canada Customs is letting a lot of stuff through. My personal Depot is at Port Huron, and a friend brought thousands of dollars of stuff accross a few weeks ago and they just waved him through.

Nights, just got cold, as though someone threw a switch. Is booze still cheap down there? L O N G time since I enjoyed a bottle of JACK on those cold nights. lol

I make a mess of McCains shoestring fries in the toaster oven, and my hand gets that Corporal Tunnel thing, just whipping that salt shaker trying to get more of that good stuff to come out. Gotta make em taste like Micky Ds.

And then I wonder why I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if I am having a stroke or heart attack!

I remember as a very young teenager , my first trip to Canada, my late bil taking me to Owen Sound, it was so hot in July up there, I was happy to get home.
The Georgian Bay waters were as cold as the lakes here in March

I used to work at cottages along Georgian bay. Very scenic, but not very inviting.

Bet I could make Durham or thereabouts in 4 hrs. Is that close?

Doubt if I could get a good look at your yard toys from the bridge, or if sending it from there via your supply guy.

btw, never know what you might need before Winter. Should we make a list? :)

Depends how fast you can blow through all the "summer" construction zones. Might be worth buying an old ambulance with lights and siren still in place and a uniform at the thrift store!

Do you work? Travelling is much nicer, during the week.

Would have to Tidy a bunch of stuff up. My cleaning lady quit/retired some time ago so stuff gets done adhoc, but that doesn't excuse various messy places, shop and outbuildings mostly.

Ah - yes, this is true ning. We do have a choice - Morton Iodized salt - $0.69/pound or Himalayan Pink - $7.00/pound or SaltWorks Pure Gourmet Sea Salt - $4.31/pound. I looked but was unable to find "Organic" sea salt. But I'm sure it's not far off. There surely is a demand somewhere.

Non GMO organic sea salt coming soon

Boneless is all the rage, y'know.

I'll stand my bachelor clutter with the best. Kitchen and bathroom are spotless, everything else horizontal is a gun magazine rack, a computer table, a binocular pile or an ammo shelf. This is the stairwell going down my shop.

Ks of rounds of hunting ammo in every other room, dozens of hunting rifles in four safes, a few ARs, SGs and HGs. Don't own a 20 rd magazine, but neighbors say they'll come here if it all goes South.

Quite a mythconception if they think I'll have bachelor chow (chili, sardines, kippers, peanuts) or ammo I'd share. I've got a siding job looming here, but want to rough-in in more gun ports before I install the J-channel to trim them. :D
