Bucket Hooks

Steve, there are times that my Kioti is too big to do the job here, and times that 580 sure would have come in handy... But I have one tractor and I will make do with it. :)
Oh come on now, two is better than one. Three is better than two,,, so on and so on.

For those who don’t weld you can always put on the bolt on hooks so you can at least use them and if you ever take your tractor into the shop they can just run a weld around the hook plate and then you don’t need to worry about the bolts doing all the holding, they can also remove the bolts and weld up the bolt holes holes.

If you watch our proof testing video's you can see that the bolts will hold anything a compact tractor can deliver.

A grade 8 bolt has 150,000 lb. PSI (120,000 lb. proof) failure rating, that is like 75 tons, seriously doubt any "farm" tractor can put that much stress on bolt.... A weld will probable rip out long before bolt fails....Personally I have no problem or doubts that two grade 8 bolts will hold sufficiently....

We installed a set of Ken's Bolt on hooks on my dad's tractor (MF383). He liked mine so much, he wanted a set on his bucket.

Mine are bolted on and I’m not worried about a thing, I’m sure my bucket will bend from abuse before anything else happens.

I use Kens, I have put them through ****, they work well, if you have any problems with anything bending, you're bucket is weak..

Nice looking Massey

Thanks. The tractor was originally bought new buy my grandfather. He passed in 2003 and the tractor didn't see much use after that. Dad inherited the farm in May of this year after it going through probate and all that other legal stuff. After several hours of working on it, draining old fuel, freeing up stuck parts, the tractor roared back to life. Dad has been using it the last several weekends and it is running just like it did when it was brand new.
