Just a couple of photos showing no issues with the loader. Dad and I were digging a fire pit today to burn brush. So, I'm still a strong support of the Kubota Grand L3560.

Will it lift a 2ft x 2ft x 2ft granite rock?

Moving dirt is not an issue. Being able to lift up rocks into a retaining wall is one of the future needs I'm looking at.

Having said that, there are a lot of great things about the L3560 that I like, and there are certainly a lot of fans of Kubota on this site, undoubtedly for a reason.

Well since I don't have one, I couldn't honestly tell you, but I did lift this big chunk of concrete. I picked up and carried it about 150 yards and then placed it in a washout next to the road without any issues.

No, it's not that far, but it's the point at which the dealer is not willing to offer free pick up/delivery for warranty repairs. Without a way to haul a tractor, that's a risk I'm not willing to take. Just a few needed trips can add up quickly.

Their line of tractors is all the rage right now among bargain shoppers. Mike Morgan on his utube channel_Outdoors with the Morgans_ really like his loaners from RK. He uses the RK37 most of all which is the size you are looking at, stout loaders too for that size machine.

I thought that you might not have a Massey dealer close to you mines 50 min away, it felt like I was bothering both the Orange and Green dealer salesmen, even though they gave me prices they also gave me the impression that I was taking up their time so I decided to check out the Massey dealer and he had no issues helping me and asking me questions about my property and how I was going to use the tractor, something the other places did not do.

I think in todays tractor world there is less than a 50-50 chance tht you would need that anytime soon.

Closest Rural King is 6-8 hours. But TYM, who makes the Rural King tractors, is on the list.

Not to get side-tracked, but I've perused the websites of every manufacturer I could find when tractor shopping. Does it seem to anyone else that they hire 5' tall people to sit on their tractors?

I think you may be correct on the 5' comment.

I'm surprised how poor the operator physical comfort is on some machines--even "large" ones.

If you have done snow blowing you know the the wind is always blowing the snow back in your face. Been there done that for many years. This year I got a new tractor with a cab, highly recommend. The heat and air conditioning are nice too.

I read thru the first six pages of this thread. I saw one or two others start to hit on the same line of thought that I had. Go bigger. If you were gonna spend 36k on the Kubota but the LS feels good and it sounds like you liked that the best, get a bigger LS. How big of an LS can you get for that 36K? I would test drive that one. If the frame size is bigger, you may have to spend more for larger implements. That pinches when you purchase them but it's usually nice when you are using them. The best advice I received was to buy the biggest tractor that I could afford. Not one time in the last 4 years have I thought that it would be nice to have a smaller tractor. I have thought it would be nice to have a second tractor, but not a smaller tractor. I went Kioti over Kubota for comfort. And then price. I would have had a smaller tractor if I bought Kubota but I didn't like how I felt I had to lean forward to get my hands on the steering wheel. The Kioti had an adjustable steering wheel that fits me perfectly. I have never heard my wife complain about it either.
I think you are wise to stay away from Kioti if your local dealer is as twisted up as you say. And you mentioned that the tym felt cheap. as someone else mentioned 500 hours in a tractor you don't like is a long time to be annoyed.


I just edited this because I thought it said 39 and it said 36K in the OP. But the same logic applies. how much more tractor could you get if you spent that much on an LS?
