I would get the gm because of the parts availability.

They quit making the ranger because the math didnt work.

One of the big things about the Tundra is the crappy gas mileage. The same comptroller also said that if our fleet mileage went up just 1 MPG it would save the company $50,000... and that's just for the light trucks.

I don't like the boxy sides of the new GMS at all. Would like to have a Dodge, but find that once, fantastic retro looking hood and fenders, has grown old. How are they ever going to move away from that which I guess is kind of a tradmark?

I look for function and dependability before how it looks. Anytime a manufacturer changes the style, they also bump the price up.

They've looked that way for quite a few years to me. Box shaped fender openings. Disproportionally high waist line.

Funny how the Griswalds station wagon was obviously designed to look foolish, yet some manufacturers have achieved that, in my opinion, and some will buy them, because, like someone said, they don't care about styling, and some buy it just because they think it's "different".

I always liked FORDS segmented window, lower at the mirror. I don't know why.

On a side note I just got a call on my 2002 F350, a guy wants to buy it I told him 5k cash so I think I’ll say bye bye to the F350. He says he will pay me Monday being he only had 4500 on him and I’m not budging on the price and banks are closed. He did take it on a test drive and really likes the 7.3 diesel.

Yes she will be riding and probably driving it from time to time as we have had numerous pick ups in our 52 years and we have two diesel cayennes one with 96,000 miles and one with 62,000 miles ( grandkids are 1400 miles away) and we drive a lot. She has the higher miles one and loves it. Both are still under warranty so that makes it harder to trade either as they are bot paid for .

Well i think from what you are talking here, i would introduce her to the diesel Ram1500 or F150 Diesel - My neighbor has the Ram and loves it and uses it to tow lawn care equipment around - I think as much driving as you do if you dont take the porsche it would give you a great option and something you both are familiar with. You will have to get new for the F150 diesel tho there might be some used Ram 1500 diesels around tho.

There is a 1999 F250 with 7.3 in Portland OR with about 50K miles and the are asking $27K
