It was for atsah, his post made it sound like a child went into the yard. A 16 y/o should know better. When I replied no one else had replied yet so it would have made sense then I noticed 2 threads before mine so I edited it. As for you last sentence, there are dog crazies and there are people crazies. I do wonder how many of the people crazies are brought about by some sort of drug.

You will get no argument from me on that.

Generally, animals don't do drugs, so you generally know where you stand when you're with them (the animal).

I just find it amazing how many man eater dogs are running lose when I've NEVER come across one. Feel like I'm living "high society" when I never come across any. Find it just amazing how many evil AR-15's are just laying around so some stupid frick can pick one up, but I never did, even though I have a bunch of them.

That's a kid to me, he was homeless and the dog owner wanted to help him out, he didn't out of the blue jump into just anyone's backyard.. Yes place was a mess like most places that house a pit bull..

To many children have.. Guess you don't read the news much or when you do you try to find an excuse for the killing instead of admitting the pit is a bigger problem than any other breed of dog..

Again I ask why have a dog that is a proven killer?

If I happened to buy a GSD that grows up and has a problem with temperament he wouldn't be here long..

Do you read the news? Do you understand what a killer the AR-15 is?:thumbsup: That rifle is nothing more than what a whack job wants to kill people.

BTW, a GSH is a proven killer. Does that mean that I don't think people should own one because they want one? No.

Man, this one circled the drain fast. RSKY, thanks for the update. I致e been thinking about her and keeping her in my prayers. Glad to hear she is recovering. That one wound scares me. I知 glad she has an alert mom and is getting good care. Hopefully it heals up soon. After the physical healing, I知 guessing she will need some mental healing. A long time ago I had a life-threatening incident as a child. It really screwed me up mentally. Even to this day there are a couple of things that agitate me pretty quickly. Luckily she has a great, loving and attentive mom. That will help a lot.
Despite all the crap that follows your updates, please keep them coming as appropriate. I am sure there are others who are concerned about her.

I really don't see how anyone can argue in favor of pit bull type dogs...of course they are not alone but they are way ahead on the curve...and personally I think the breed and sub breeds should be eradicated from public ownership...

Let me make it simple for you.

Kid gets shot with a gun, sorry for the kid. Never should of happened.

However, what happens is the talk becomes that guns are dangerous and should be outlawed.
