Please help! 2019 Branson 7845C non-working after service? Airlock?

I'm turning to the Internet hoping to find expertise. I text my dealer but he hasnt responded... his shop is closed so I didnt expect it but it was worth a shot.

Is anyone familiar with Branson tractors and their 50hr service? I have the manual that came with the tractor along with the 582pg shop manual on my computer and it has proved useless. It instructs changing the oil and fluid and filters but that's it...and to check the levels

Yesterday we did the 50hr service on our 2019 Branson 7845c. We drained the oil, changed the oil filter, and refilled. Check the levels after it ran and it's perfect. We also drained nearly 15gal of hydraulic fluid, changed the filter, and filled with new fluid. All per the manual. Checked the levels and all good. Still good after running as well. Got all fluid and filters from the dealer.

Tractor started up perfect, no indicator lights on..went to put the FEL up and no response....tried the back hydraulic implement....no response.
The steering is very loose and the tractor will not move forward or reverse. So it's currently a giant peice of steel blocking the garage with all hydraulics lowered (fun!)...

I didn't want to leave running long in case the pump isnt working for fear of burning it up or of fluid wasnt running through. It's like the whole hydraulic system is nonresponsive because it doesnt even wince if you touch the lever.

Nothing else was fooled with on the machine. Just oil and hydraulic fluid changes.
Does anyone have any insight? I'm hoping maybe someone familiar will be on so I am not tractorless through the rest of the holiday weekend.

Also, I searched for a bleeder bolt or something of the sort on the pump and found nothing..any secrets? I really think its airlocked but afraid to let it run if nothing is getting to the pump in order to troubleshoot. Still havent gotten a text from my dealer back but I really need my tractor.

Well, what an un-good outcome of a fairly standard procedure. Not that I have great wisdom, you may benefit from starting tractor and turning steering wheel left and right, to force oil through that system. On some tractors, this is the bleeding process. Update:
we got it working. There is no bleeder but we ended up taking some of the hoses off around the pump and putting hydraulic fluid in them direct.

It seems to have fixed the air bolus and we are back in business, sort of. It still isnt working in reverse but we need to work fluid through.

I read the steering wheel bleed but the problem is, everything on this seems connected to the hydraulic so even the steering was useless...we could spin the wheel and no resistance.



Thanks again for your quick reply. I'm keeping my log I handy because we've worked through 3 "new tractor breakin issues" so far and without the Internet, would be even more frustrated.

It's a nice tractor, but **** those older ones are so much simpler. I can look at my little cub and know where a problem is, trace it, fix it..no hidden gadgets or surprises.

Did you use Branson filters or aftermarket ones?

I got the stuff from my dealer. . . It was light blue like the one on there from factory..lol
I got it from them in hope's of using the correct/recommended stuff for the service. It's hard for me to take it to them but I work under the direction of them. Just sucks on the holiday weekend when they are closed. Always the worst times!

It's on my reciept so I will check what it was

I don't know if the 7845 has them I would suspect it does, did you pull and clean your magnet in the belly, also the suction strainer screen?
Your tractor should have two pumps bolted together on the engine the small section is the power steering,
the larger section is for the hydraulics. I would expect that the suction line which draws thru the filter still has air in it,make sure your filter is good an tight,
did you oil the gasket when you installed it?
You could pull the feed line of the pump and back fill that into the filter and case, that should clear up your loader and steering issues.
As far as the power shuttle that draws directly from the transmission case for your forward and reverse.
Also there is a high pressure filter on the return from the rear remotes.
You could plug a hose with a quick connect into a remote and open end that back to the fill port.
I believe that your 7845 is very similar to my 8050.

Some people tried to use aftermarket filter and caused some problems on the hydraulic pumps, hence my question.

Since you got them from the dealer, it's should be ok then.

You're right on "everything seems connected to the hydraulics". Since it's a power shuttle tractor, you have clutch packs to shuttle the tractor back and forth, that depend on hydraulic fluid to engage/disengage and get lubricated.

Is the hydraulic fluid on level after you got it to somewhat move? It looks like the pumps are not pulling the oil, either from air on the suction side or something else that's really to diagnose over the internet.

Not sure if that will work. This is all the stuff I got from the dealer for service. I only need 9qts oil, they gave 10. Not sure if that pic will work, it been a while since I've done the forum thing

Interesting choices of oil, hard to even find information about that brand,especially anything hydraulic/transmission.
